McLeod scored an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
McLeod scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.
His skating has never been an issue; he can torch defenders to the outside or back them off with a burst of speed. He drives play because he can win races to pucks and apply good back pressure. His shot is improving, partly because he is maturing physically as he approaches his prime. He is also growing into a more creative playmaker, which should help him earn more minutes. Can play either center or wing.
Long Range Potential: Speedy, versatile two-way forward.
